For two years Myvillage worked with Smirnoff to drive awareness and footfall in bars around the UK. Smirnoff sponsored the “bars and music” section of the site to highlight and to promote local participating bars that were running promotions at a given time and day. One mechanism used during the campaign period was to drive users to a Smirnoff mini-site to capture user data and content. Using Myvillage as the sole site to promote Smirnoff Experiences, after two weeks the brand gained just under a thousand recorded user’s stories.
